Hello! I am a certified speech language pathologist with an extensive background in evaluation and treatment of speech, swallowing, language, voice and cognitive disorders. I have worked with people of all ages – from the little ones learning how to talk to those in their “golden years”. Throughout the 12+ years working as a speech therapist, I have gained experience in all types of settings – hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, home health and most recently in an outpatient clinic serving both pediatric and adult populations. I hold specialty certifications for treating swallowing disorders including Vital Stim and myofascial release certifications.
Within the last few years, I have become actively involved with the Parkinson’s community. While working as an outpatient therapist, I co-founded a Parkinson’s exercise group and my passion for this community has continued to grow with my involvement with the Parkinson Voice Project and the Wisconsin Parkinson Association. I have specialty certifications in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and SPEAK OUT! voice programs.
As your speech language pathologist, I promise to provide the highest quality of care to you and to your support team. Regardless of the reason for your visit, you can feel confident that you will be treated with respect and your information kept confidential.
I look forward to meeting you!
